Help with Menopause?

MommaBear asked:

I’m starting to have symptoms of Menopause.
I’m only 41 but I had a hysterectomy when I was 30.
I still have 1 ovary.
But I’m dealing with moodiness alot more now than ever. And there is no good reason for my moodiness, everything in my life is absolutely perfect. I’m happier now than I’ve ever been.
I also deal with just the over-all not feeling well.
I’ve never been able to gain weight, I’ve always been under weight….just is natural in my family.
And now I’ve been putting on weight, which at first was great. But, o.k., the weight can stop now. And it’s not. I’m not liking it.
The only symptom I don’t really have are the hot flashes.
If this is Menopause or pre-menopause will the doctors give me anything now, or will I have to wait until it gets worse?
They did a hormone test on me a few months ago and it came back pre-menopause.
My doctor didn’t really seem like he wanted to do anything about it.
But I’m really miserable.

go back to the doctor or go to another and be sure they check your thyroid hormone levels as well. antidepressants would probably be very helpful in this situation.

try a natural solution to ease your pre-menopause woes. 40 g of flaxseed a day and the addition of soy products to your diet should help you get some relief. this is because both flax and soy are phytoestrogens and can act like the estrogens produced in our own bodies to help balance you out in such a time when your hormones are off the wall.

You should try to Tofu for dishes. It helps a great deal. It you **** Tofu, Walgreen sells extracts. Asian women seldom get symptoms of menopause because they eat a lot of Tofu and soy sauce which is also made from Tofu.
Buy 1 Tofu (firm) and slice it into 1×1/2 inches about 1/4 thick. Hit a nonstick pan. Put a little oliver oil or Pam. Put the sliced tofu flat into the pan and cook slowly until both sides golden. Take them out on a plate. Make a sauce in the same pan. Just 1 tsp of olive oil. Put in a handful of chopped scalion or onion. A pinch of salt and a pinch of sugar. 1 tsp of soy sauce. 2 tsp of water. Cook for 1 minute. Pour the sauce onto the cooked tofu. Mix slightly and enjoy. Try this for a week. You should feel better.
