    That means that the pills have not been determined to be safe or not.
    I would stay away from them until more is known about them.
    The fact the FDA has not tested them is a red flag.

    Femestra may not be unsafe to take, but it also may not do anything to ease her symptoms. A lot of these herbal remedies and nutritional supplements are pretty useless or may not contain enough of the active ingredient to make a difference. Because they are not regulated by the FDA, there is no testing done on these remedies, and the strength of the ingredients could vary from one batch to the next. I would tell your friend to try the remedy if she likes, but don’t expect any miracles.

    Have your friend see her doctor and work treatment out with him.
